Next time we have people to our house I'm going to make theses cute little desserts.

Yes, he's done it the last three years. Click here to enlarge The invite just made me laugh. I did not, however, when I found myself in a group message about the party that involved me and 62 others. Click here to enlarge We had an immediate text conversation (I was at work) with me laying down the law that he best not have 62 showing up at my house. He claimed it wasn't an accurate number. The deal is, outside only, inside just to change or use the bathroom. We have an acre of land and the pool is set back, so there is plenty of room to set up the badmitton stuff, play football, etc. Plus we have a tent over our patio.

Wren, this could be you someday! Click here to enlarge

My oldest is coming for a visit, his favorite is ribs, so we will do ribs, potato salad, corn, peas, a blueberry dump cake and possibly banana pudding

I don't understand this cake.

I need to get up and make the ice cream sandwiches, we're using red velvet, chocolate chocolate chip and chocolate chip cookies and red white and blue bluebell ice cream. I have a watermelon and bomb pops. That's it Click here to enlarge

It's not a feeling, it's a knowing.

I'll buck the trend, I don't think her kids are all that in the cute department. not all kids are cute. they have other attributes that make up for that, but look at tweedle's aiden, that is a cute kid. and your kids mel, those are adorable kids. Her's are average. I wouldn't take a second look passing her on the street.

Second entry if you google "chocolate better than sex cake".
On the rare occasion I make it I leave out the condensed milk, I hate soggy cake with a passion. The yellow cake/pineapple version has been an Easter tradition for my family for 20-ish years.

We're having ribs or burgers, potato salad and a green salad.
And either Texas Sheetcake or this made with extra pudding on a graham cracker crust http://www.southyourmouth.com/2012/0...e-delight.html

It's just the 3 of us - none of us have been invited anywhere and don't know or like anyone well enough to invite over.

We're BBQ'ing burgers and I'm making potato salad and a green salad, deviled eggs. Best part is all I needed from the store is some eggs, making a quick run to 7-11 after my potatoes are cooked.

If the skating rink is open I'm gonna take the kids skating early before the BBQ.
