Thank you. Click here to enlarge I'm just extra motivated since the scale didn't change in the last several days. Click here to enlarge

Also for today: 15 minutes of skating. *Those* particular muscles haven't been used in three years. Ouch.

Skipped weights today because I want to shake up the workout routine a bit.

Instead I did :
  • 20 minute "hard walk" workout on the treadmill (approx 1.1 mile)
20 minute "fat burner" workout on the recumbent bike at Level 4 (approx 4 and a bit miles)
20 minutes or so of stretching
20 minute "fat burner" workout on the StairMaster at Level 4 (approx 1.2 miles)
20 minute "cross training" workout on the eliptical machine, low resistance (to cool down)

I also spent an hour in the pool today with the boys. I did some core strengthening exercises while I was in there.

So put that in your pipe and smoke it PLATEAU! Click here to enlarge Click here to enlarge Click here to enlarge

Perhaps I'll slip to the gym tomorrow even though it isn't a usual gym day for me.

Nope, no gym. Because of the blizzard warning I thought it would be best to get some groceries because things were getting low.

It was a good call.

We have almost 2 feet of snow down now. In a few hours, it will have been snowing for 24 hours straight. Click here to enlarge

Today, Feb 19, I've done some shovelling. There is much much much more shovelling to do.

I think that will be my workout for the day. Click here to enlarge

Hopefully the gym will re-open tomorrow.
