Do you enjoy camping?

It's pretty rare for me to use my vacation time, but this year I am looking forward to spending some time out in nature on a few camping trips.

I am working on developing an off topic forum (public) for everyone.

If you visit the site (without logging in) unless you know the URL of the page you cannot see it. It doesn't show up in the list of categories for visitors from the main forum page. https://www.sybermoms.com/forums/

If you don't want to answer my actual topic, no worries. I just enjoy camping and thought maybe there were others that might too.

The main event was supposed to be that off topic board.
It was set up differently when there were paid levels of membership.
But it makes no sense to add another forum to a dead message board. Instead we should be consolidating forums to increase traffic on the main forums to gain more people. Inviting new people to join a blank forum doesn't work.

It depends on whose house I am sitting outside of and how late they leave their curtains open.

The closest we get to camping is being in a room where the remote control for the TV doesn't work.

We love camping, but we are spoiled with a 37 foot fifth wheel. I'm not interested in tent camping or anything like that. We camp as much as we possibly can in the summer.

Nano, that would be glamping.

I am a big fan of not camping. The closest I will get to camping is being at a campground that has indoor plumbing. I have no interest in peeing on the ground, or worse.

I tend to stick to state parks because they have bathrooms and showers. LOL

That being said, I would love to hike the AT someday which would likely include digging a hole to poop. Click here to enlarge

I definitely do NOT enjoy camping. Click here to enlarge The bugs, the dirt, the bugs, the lack of air conditioning, the bugs, the lack of privacy, the bugs. Yuck.

Even if I pee in the woods a lot? And I have to walk a good distance to poop in an outhouse.

Camping in the wild

I really appreciate going camping, and try my best to give the same experience to my boys.

Just being without wifi for a couple of days is worth it Click here to enlarge

Well, my camping bouts are pretty short-lived these days. Not enough time and energy.

Yeah, I love camping. I enjoy walking, and getting tired, and breathing in fresh air.
