My dd goes to montessori year round so it doesn't matter too much to us. Uniforms and school supplies are provided so we don't even do back-to-school shopping. School doesn't start until 9 in the summer though and you can miss as much as you like and they swim every day, so there will be some adjustment.

My daughter is starting Kindergarten on Monday. We're excited, but I'm a nervous wreck. Tonight is open house.

My 6 year old will be starting first grade on the 26th. I think he is looking forward to it. He says he misses his friends.

It is hard the first week or so. He is growing up too fast.

We start Tues here. I'll have one in high school, one in junior high, one in middle school, and one in elementary. In sept, my little girl starts preschool (3 mornings a week), so I'll be down to only one!!!

Wow - we don't start for another two weeks! My 12yo starts at a private school this year. She has to catch the high school bus at 7am, then transfer at the high school for the bus to the private school. If (I mean when) she misses the bus, all hell is going to break loose! I'm in work by 6am, DH is useless in the morning. If she misses both buses - he has to get the 3yo up, dressed and she'll be in the car for an hour to take sister to school and her to granddad's house. Yikes. It's going to be a fun year!
