I am going to an Open House on Wednesday morning - a Diagnostic Medical Imaging work shop at the University I will be attending when I'm done my pre-reqs. I have never been there. Ever. I have no idea on earth what to expect. I can't believe how nervous I am about going. :lol It's not like I'm starting there soon...but I have to get my foot in the door over there and get the ball rolling if I plan on having my ducks in a row when admission time comes.

I guess this just makes my goal seem real and actually reachable, and that scares the shit out of me. :paranoia I am making my husband go with me because it's down in center city and I am so NOT a city girl. He knows his way around better than me. The campus is HUGE - there are 3 schools and a hospital all in a 3x5 block radius. That alone scares me. :lol My dh is being such a good sport though - he knows he will have to hang around downtown for 2 hours and find entertainment at 10 AM while I attend the workshop. He's such a trooper.

Wish me luck!

Thanks. I'm nervous AND excited now. :lol I should be in bed. :paranoia I even bought a whole new outfit to wear - right down to the shoes.

I called today to make sure I was registered because I never received a confirmation and guess what? I was NOT registered. Grrrr.... I registered online and the lady said that sometimes those registrations slip through the cracks. :rolleyes So it's a good thing I called. She just registered me over the phone and she was very helpful.

I'm excited to see the campus. I've never been there and I'm dying to check it out. :D

I'm back. It was verah cool....learned alot more about the school (didn't know much up till now) and how the program works. It's definitely doable. The only issue may be money, but I'll be applying for loans out the wazoo so we'll see.

My dh was great...he went up and sat through the whole thing with me. Then we missed our train back home because I read the schedule wrong... :paranoia I could tell he was pissed but he was still being sweet to me. :lol He is being so supportive of me and he seemed pretty interested in everything. We were chatting all the way home about my plans. :D

A baby step in a very long marathon is now complete. :lol
