Stomping the foot adn saying NO

I don't know how to get ds to stop stomping his foot and saying NO!! It is driving me nuts. I will ask him to pick up his toys and he will do it. I have been ignoring it but thats not working. Any advice on how to get him to stop??

My daughter turned 3 yesterday. When she was 2 1/2 she started with the "no's" and the whining. I told her constantly for about a week that mommy doesn't listen when she does that. After the week, I just wouldn't respond. She corrected her behavior on her own and the no's and the whines stopped almost 100%

Good luck. This age can be hard.
