It works on a lot of stuff! I was skeptical and had heard mixed reviews....but it got a dried red wine stain out of my cotton tablecloth.

It did not, however, whiten my kitchen tile grout.

It whitened my kitchen grout, but it took a whole lot of it to do it. I usually put a scoop in with my whites, and it works just as well as bleach, without the bleach smell and worrying about burning holes in anything.

I have used oxyclean on most things and it worked okay. The only thing I wished I had not used it on was my carpet. It lightened it up in the area where I put it. Of course if I had read the directions it does say test it on fabric and carpet for this. Overall it is one of the better cleaners. I have used it on my white cabinets in the kicthen to get the dull stains off of them and it worked great. It worked great on the sinks and the tubs too.

I think the key to really good whites is to use the Oxyclean with HOT water. Some people I know only do laundry with cold water and complain they don't see as good a result as with bleach in their whites. I do use it in my colored loads, too, and see good results. But don't expect a miracle in cold water with your whites.

Oxyclean is GOD in this house. :lol It really does get out almost anything we've come across so far.

3 - 5 bucks maybe? It's gel, doesn't really smell all that bad. I really like it.

I love oxyclean. My personal miracle with it isn't something the general public could count on, but it made me a believer.

We had white berber carpet in our last house (I know, I know, we bought it before we had kids! :lol ), and we were trying to sell it. My 2 year old managed to find some red nail polish, and spilled it all over the carpet. I used oxyclean dissolved in some hot water. The stain came almost all the way out. Not completely, but close enough that you'd have to get on your hands and knees to see where it had been.

Came out just in time for the realtor to show the house.
