View Full Version : Perfect Pancake Maker
Using this signified the first time in my life I've ever actually made "perfect" pancakes. They were thick, golden brown, and soft. Only problem is I like my pancakes to be a little crispy on the edges and the maker is so perfect it is impossible to do so unless I burn them. All in all it worked wonderfully, easy clean up, and I'm looking forward to trying some of the other recipes for it.

now I have to add that I hated it. And the little shape things that come with it were just as usuless. I think I have it in a box around here some where I I didn't give it to good will already :lol
I use the heart shape thing to cut sandwiches sometimes.
I didn't enjoy the pancake maker I thought it seemed that you had to wait until the first side was about burned to flip it without spilling any out of the sides.
I do love the batter dispenser that came with it :lol

I bought one of these at Wal-mart, it might not have been the same particular brand you are talking about but same idea. I poured in my batter and let it brown on that side and was getting ready to flip it over and the damn pancake slipped out through the middle. My pancake maker will not close all the way together. I thought I could tighten the screws but no it didn't work. I do not like mine. I haven't used it since.

I got one from my grandmother who likes "As seen on tv" products. Haven't used it since I got it a few years ago. I do use the dispenser though. This years gift was "the pasta pot".. those o nes that have a colander built into the lid. Haven't used them yet either. :paranoia
