This issue of Consumer Reports has a report on disposable diapers. It lists Pampers Custom Fit cruisers in the top spot, especially if your child is prone to leaks, with Huggies Supreme a close second. Luvs (at 23 cents a diaper) Baby Basics (Albertson's 21 cents) and America's Choice (A&P 22 cents) were the best values. America's Chioce prevented leaks slightly better than Baby Basics.
The 4 bottom disposables were White Cloud (Wal-Mart 21 cents), Simply Dry (Stop & Shop 19 cents), Loving Touch (Target 21 cents) and Little Ones (Kmart 22 cents).

For my kid, it was about finding the diaper that FIT her.
I've talked to other people who have said that they had to use different diapers for different kids, because the kids just didn't have the same exact shape as eachother.

We love White Cloud diapers :lol And they're more like 15 cents apiece in the metric buttload box.
It's the only thing that will get me to set foot into Wal-Mart.

That's right. My daughter used pampers and I brough a huge amount on them on a warehouse sale . When I gave them to my sister, his son didn't get used to it. There wasn't much difference in weight but the sex shapes matters. BTW I was reading an article about diapers consumer reports (http://www.articles-free.ca/) that talks about it.
Cheers
