I just pumped some milk for dd and it was pink :eyepop. I mean pink! It looks like strawberry milk. Dd is eight months old and I checked for any cracks or bleeding and nada. What the hell?

Have you eaten or drinken anything with red dye in it? That's all I can think of that would turn breastmilk pink.

:idea I was engorged! I had worked a half of a day and forgotten my pump. I rushed home to feed her and pump. I had been gone for about four hours and she had not missed a feeding. The milk is ok right?

I'm sure the milk is fine. Sometimes when I pump I swear my milk has an orange tint. Other times it looks like it has a yellowish and sometimes a bluish tint. A few months ago, blood actually came out of my boob, twice, and I totally freaked out. My lactation consultant said not to worry, it happens.

I thought the milk wouldn't be ok. :dunno
I though if there was some blood in your milk it's ok for the baby to nurse off it but not to freeze that kind of milk.
If it were me I'd call La Leche?

Basicly, breastmilk with blood in it is fine to feed to baby. I haven't found any information with restrictions of freezing the milk. I imagine if you can feed it to the baby fresh, then it's also okay frozen. The only restriction I have ever heard of for freezing milk is when thrush is involved, since freezing does NOT kill yeast.
