The last week my dd has seemed really hungry all the time. She will be 8 months in about a week. I feed on demand all the time. When my milk lets down it still sprays everywhere so this is what is leading me to believe this is from something else. Would it be normal for me to be losing my supply right now or could this be something else? She still has plenty of wet diapers. I am wondering if she is doing it more for comfort because she is just learning so much right now? I don't think its a growth spurt - she had one a 6 months, what is the next one? I know lots of questions and ramblings. TIA.

Maybe she's going through a growth spurt. I don't think it would be your supply, it sounds like you have plenty to spare!

It's probably a growth spurt, and she's trying to up your supply. JUst keep going the way you're going.

if she seems happy with what she is getting i wouldn't worry. if she seems unsatisfied, it wouldn't hurt to offer her a couple solid meals, if she isn't already... it doesn't sound, to me, like your supply is decreasing either.

I thought I was losing my supply at about that same time, but my breasts were only adjusting.

I went from being able to tell which boob she had last nursed on by poking it, to not even being engorged if she missed 2 feedings in a row!

I wouldn't assume that you supply is going. you're doing good by paying attention to wet diapers and such.

Well come to find out she is about to get her first tooth, I can feel the jagged edge, so I think that is one reason she has been nursing so much. :) Thanks all!
