Mine are ds-15
ds-12
ds-8
ds-4
dd-17months.

There is 14 years between first and last.

And, ds #4 is not biologically mine, but he is my son.

They are almost exactly 2 years apart and, had I known in advance how hard the transition from 1 to 2 would be for me, I would have waited longer before getting pregnant with #2.

It is a 10 year difference between oldest and youngest and I like it. I figure by the time DD is a teen who knows everything we will have some grandbabies in our near future.

My friend had both her kids on the same day too! They are exactley 4 years apart.

There is an 11 year and 4 day difference between my oldest and youngest. My oldest 2 are very close and my 4 yo and 1 yo are close. My older children are from another marriage, and I started over again after remarrying, but we are now finished.

I love the age difference, they are able to really enjoy their baby brother and also help out with him. They love reading to him and playing with him. I don't think I would ever shower if I didn't have them to help!
I remember once I went to a luncheon at dd's class and they were told to invite their favorite person. Her classmate (6) invited his big brother (17), I was so touched by that special relationship, I wish that for my kids.
