This term I'm only taking Info Systems Management 201. I'm very burnt from last term, I took two in-house classes and they both had a heavy workload. This term the class is online, so I'm not stressing to get stuff done--as much.

I'm only taking one class this term - Algebra. I haven't done it in such a long time. I just got the book - nothing is coming back to me yet. :lol
I have three classes this semester (I start in a week):
Introduction to Chemistry
Anatomy & Physiology I
Introduction to Psychology
All three have labs - wugh.

This semester I am taking
Microbiology
Pediatric and Neonatal Cardiopulmonary Care
Advanced Respiratory Care Patient Assessment
and Clinical IV
That will require M-F so I know what you are talking about, Juni.
I have registered for german 101 and Algebra so far.
I have a working knowledge of german, but can not write.
I have no knowledge of college algebra.:lol
I need a science as well, but do not think I can co-ordinate my schedule. I will have to meet with my crappy advisor to try and straighten it all out.
Can't decide. I want to take Basic scene Study, Voice for Actors and Movement for Actors. Have to discuss scheduling with dh.

:hello
I'm taking:
Anthropology 212 - Introduction to Native North America
Beginning Algebra - which sucks because it's not even at a level to go towards my degree yet. :rolleyes
Sociology 101
Library Skills - Research on the Internet. Another :rolleyes class. You have to have library skills to get your AA out here. I tried to get out of it. The counselor laughed at me.
I was going to tack on another, but both my kids are in school this year and I already think I'm insane for taking 4 classes.

Me too, spark. I hate that the credits won't count, but I have to do it. Mine is actually intermediate algebra, which is the same as beginning. Maybe we can help each other out? :D

That would kick ass! I have to study my ass off in math to do well. Everything else comes fairly easy, but math... wugh!
My AA degree is a 67 credit degree. When all is said and done I will have a 92 credit AA degree because of the pre-reqs. BASTARDS! :lol Oh, and if I want to transfer to UNLV as a junior I have to take three or four other classes that UNLV requires. :lol Lucky me!!

Funny how that works, isn't it? :lol
Well we should definitely keep each other in mind as we muddle through the x's and y's. I did okay in high school algebra, but damn, it's been quite a while. Who knows how my brain will react when I hit these books. :confused
I just went through 3 algebra classes in a row including the crappy first 2 that were non-credit so I'm here to help too. :)

Can I fax you my homework? :paranoia
Oooh Barbie, I took Contemporary Ethics this summer. I loved that class. I think the quality would really vary depending on the teacher. Our teach did it very open, we basically debated every class. It is basically my favorite class of college so far.
And Tattoo, if I had a fax machine I would totally do it for ya. :love Unfortunetly I don't so I'll just have to help in here.

Healthcare Organization and Delivery on Monday night
Healthcare Research Methodology on Wednesday night
And something as yet undetermined on Tues and Thursday nights.
I can't decide if I want to go the Human Resources (fun) direction, or the Quantitative Statistics (lots o' work) direction.

First of all, my intro psych class rocked. That has to be one of my all time favorite classes. I think it really depends on the teacher. Also, I found the subject facinating.
Second, I wouldn't call human resources fun. At least, not as far as the basics go. Right now, I'm working towards a management degree, which is the basis for an HR degree. These classes suck. Or maybe it is just because I don't have an real interest in the subjects. Fortunately, there is a lot of over lap in the 101 level courses. I've taken intro to business, intro to marketing and intro to management. They all cover a bunch of the same stuff.
Finally, I'm database applications during my lunch hour this fall. It is supposed to be a three day a week class, but Friday is optional attendance, which rocks. It really helps me that I know the teacher and that it is over my lunch hour at work. Hopefully those two forces with inspire me to actually go to class on a fairly regular basis.

I have to finish up two gen ed courses that I've put off for the last decade or so :lol
So, I have:
Concepts of P.E. -- this one REALLY sucks. I took this at another university years ago. Unfortunately it was a one credit course. It is two credits here and they told me I could either retake it or take a one credit activity p.e. course. The one credit courses are scheduling nightmares so I'm taking this one.
World Lit one -- I loathe World Lit
Technical writing -- upper level writing course. I'm hoping it is not too horrid.

Human Sexuality
Sociology of Social Services
Work and Complex Organizations
Cross Cultural Aspects of Mental Health.
In theory I should add a fifth but I doubt I will actually do so.

Macroeconomics

My intro to business class sucked. I ended up with an A in the class but I hated every second of it.
I also do not envy Lasagna. I'm doing everything I can to avoid taking Business Math and here she is taking Calc and getting a degree in Math.

Business math was a breeze for me, but the teacher was a pushover. He'd go off on tangents and never come back. Plus, we only had to do the work if we felt we needed to, and we had all take home tests.
I still managed to only get a B, but my ds was only a couple of months old, and I ended up missing about half of the classes.

English Comp 1
College Accounting
Introduction to College (2 saturdays in a row. blech)
I was SUPPOSED to take business law, but there weren't enough to fill the class so they canceled it. Now I am taking Short Fiction, which may have been a poor choice, because I have now been told it is an upper English class. We'll see I guess. :lol
