I quit three weeks ago yesterday and I'm doing great. I used the patch for the first week and a half and then I started forgetting to put them on, and using nicotine gum and lozenges instead. Now I'm down to just a few 2mg lozenges a day and feeling great. I don't think I could smoke if I tried. The smell makes me sick, and I am so glad. It took me forever to get to this point, and unfortunately what it took was my dad being diagnosed with extensive small cell lung cancer.

But I'm a quitter and I'm going to remain smoke-free! I can do this!

Congratulations OTT! I'm sorry to hear about your Dad.

I started Chantix last week. Tomorrow is my last day and then no more cigarettes. I did so well last time and I'm hoping I can do it this time. Why does it have to be so hard?
