I actually did it.

I finished all of my Chem I tasks. I am still waiting on 2 to be graded but I might actually get a pass on this class before the end of term and not have to retake it.

Cross your fingers for me. Titration of strong and weak acids was my last one and that was a 4-5 hours of straight work absolute bitch. I don't want to have to redo it.

Hopefully sometime in the next week. Some of the graders are really quick. Others seem to take forever. I am pretty sure they are supposed to have it graded in no more than 2 weeks. So far the longest it has taken is 5 days.

I always had a huge variance too. Some of them got them graded and back to me in the same day or next day. Others took for-freaking-ever. My last few terms have been an absolute bitch with the graders. I had two graders take one of my papers to grade and just never, ever grade it and so no one else could take it because that person had it. Then I've had graders turn back my papers graded for the wrong freaking task.

Part of me wonders if it was the same grader over and over, because that was very unusual for my experience with graders.

I was so excited in the first term after reading some of the reviews about the graders, then having no issues at all. I think first term I had 2 days max on turn around for everything. This term has been a PITA with the graders being really picky, or screwing up (dh had one assignment he resubmitted without changing anything and had it pass the second time

There was nothing wrong with it the first time) and just being slow. I am hoping things speed up again next term.

IME, the further along I got in my program, the worse the experience with the graders. I'd be curious to see if that holds out for others, like yourself. But I'm totally hoping for your sake it doesn't!

I've also had the EXACT SAME experience as your DH. Resubmitted unchanged tasks and they were graded with glowing remarks the second time!

I am happy for you that you passed but you are scaring me with the chemistry.

I am taking it, along with physics, health ed, phy ed, curriculum, and educ psy 2 in fall. :scared I wonder if it will be easier in class, face to face with a professor, other students and lab, though. I am thinking for chemistry, yes.
