How can I make extra money and still be a full time SAHM?

Any thoughts?

DH works 50-55 hours a week. I have 4 kids so not only do I not want to baby sit, I cant afford to have anyone babysit for me.

Thanks for the info.

How about Ebay? I know a FT SAHM who shops at thrift stores and buys the brand name clothing (mostly kids clothes) and sells it on Ebay. I think she does ok. You would need a digi camera if you don't already have one. This would be good because you could do it after the kids are in bed.

Sorry, that's the only thing that comes to mind at the moment.

I second eBay. I've made good money selling DS's clothes there and other stuff (books, DVD's etc) that we don't want anymore.

Typing service?
Medical billing? This requires training.
Avon? Home Interiors? If you have access to an office with a lot of women in it, catalog sales are guaranteed.

I'm a SAHM of four so I'll be tracking this thread, too!

Cool

Pampered Chef has worked out great for my sister. She won a trip to Rome last year, she won an Alaskan cruise this year, and she's currently working on a Hawaiian trip for next year. She keeps asking me to become a consultant, but I just don't know enough people outside of family to even get started. She had a great start up group through her church and play group. She's made a pretty decent income through it as well. HTH and good luck!

How are your baking skills? Any little cafe/coffee shops nearby where you could sell cookies, etc?

Do you need a commercial kitchen to do this? Health dept regs in my state require one.

I say try ebay too. I make about $100 a week just selling my kids old clothes and stuff around the house.

I have decluttered so much AND made money!

I would have to reccomend ebay as well. I sell Mary Kay things on ebay and make about $100 a week when I list items. All it took to start my "business" was a very inexpensive digi cam.
Good luck!

Praise Xenu!
Kick ass art.

"I was just arguing global warming again this past week with someone. She watched Gore's POS movie and believes every freckin' work of it. I told her that he can't even get the hurricane on the cover to spin the right way, and that's just the START of the problems with that movie. Needless to say the conversation with her went downhill from there." -- a meteorologist friend
