Yeah, but I don't care. His piddling $200 a month isn't gonna make or break me.

He sucks. I have never asked my ex, because I don't know how I would handle it if he said yes. And I think he'd at least consider it.

Have you talked to a lawyer about it, Gina? The state may not permit it, depending on the circumstances. Tell him he should give you the money for the lawyer since it's getting him off the hook.

I've decided to be petty and keep taking his money. He doesn't have to have a relationship with the baby, but he does have to keep paying child support. Click here to enlarge

I believe they usually won't do that unless there is someone else willing to adopt him. My ex offered a few times way back when we were in touch to give up his parental rights. I was actually relieved when he offered because he was a straight up fucking psycho who had threatened to kidnap her. Click here to enlarge

it's not petty to get the child support that your kid really needs.

No, it's not petty -- Yummy's right. If the money isn't an issue for you, then set it aside for his education. That $200/mo could end up being the difference between a good education and a great one for him someday.

Praise Xenu!
Kick ass art.

"I was just arguing global warming again this past week with someone. She watched Gore's POS movie and believes every freckin' work of it. I told her that he can't even get the hurricane on the cover to spin the right way, and that's just the START of the problems with that movie. Needless to say the conversation with her went downhill from there." -- a meteorologist friend
