Money

Do any of you ladies do anything to earn money?

I've been a SAHM now for 3 years...but with a almost 3 and 1 year old I don't know what I can do.

Give me some ideas.

Is anyone else tired of not having their own cash??

I'm tired of not having my own cash but I think the only way to do it is to go out and get a job.
Sorry, not what you want to hear. But I'm dealing with the same thing. Click here to enlarge

Who says I don't have my own cash? Dh works for me. Click here to enlarge

The only thing I have ever done to make extra money was get a part time job in the evenings or baby sit. I don't suggest baby sitting, you may remember the hassles I had with that. Click here to enlarge

I do a bit of work at home. I hate admitting to it though - it's telephone interviewing for a market research company. I think we're regarded with the same level of affection that most people reserve for cockroaches.

At least it's not selling stuff (I'd make a hopeless salesperson) and I only work when dh is home from work - he minds the girls wihle I work. I am in control of when I work and how long for, so I can fit it in easily around our family life. If the girls need me, I just finish off for the evening and go back to it the next time it suits.

Vermin ~ How did you find something like that? I know you're in NZ but is that company international? Sounds like a great work from home job.

Anyways, just wondering. Click here to enlarge

Rhett - I saw it advertised in our local paper.

I work for a company called ConsumerLink.
http://www.consumerlink.co.nz

Our parent company is Colmar Brunton.

You could always try looking up some local market research companies in your phone book and ask them if they have a hometeam for telephone interviewing. The bulk of the telephone interviewing work done by our company is office based - CATI work (computer assisted telephone interviewing). The home-team just covers certain projects.

I donate Plasma for cash. I know that sounds so terriable, but I used to donate blood on a daily basis so I figured it is not much different. The plasma that I donate is used in pharmacuticals that help children and adults that have blood clotting issues. It is not a ton of $$ (20-30 for each time I donate), but I feel really good about it.

I do childcare so I can stay home. I have 2 kids of my own and then 2 full time and 2 part time kids that I watch. Some days it really sucks but at least I'm home where I want to be and most of the time 4-6 kids really isn't harder then 2 since they play pretty well together.

I am going to watch a 3mos old when his mom goes back to work. She's looking for a good center, but still not sure if she wants to work full time anymore. So I'll watch the baby until she decides to stay home or not..or until we move in July. I'll be making $100/week.

I found this great home based business that I started 2 months ago and I love it.
I can sit at home in my pj's if I want to.

After spending several of $100's on others
I actually found one and received my first check from working out of my home, it is great i spend more time with my family.

All I invested was $29 for my business kit. It takes the worries out of were i am going to make money and spend all the time that I want with my family. I spend several years looking for something like this and finally found it.

I use some of DH's paycheck, I sell Avon casually, just enough to get a discount and a little extra (about 30-40 bucks every 2 weeks) and I just began selling Petra. I like both of those product lines, so it's not like I'm really selling it to make money, that's just a bonus.

I just started watching a 3 year old boy a few weeks ago. I placed an ad in the paper. I watch him about 15 hours per week and get $60.00.

Talking website with real work at home jobs

I do know of a website that lists work from home jobs it is http://hop.clickbank.net/mommyof2/homejob. The lady that runs the site screens all jobs b/f she posts them. They are all legit work from home jobs, not businesses. If the company charges a start up fee she will not post them. There are several catagories clerical, customer service, medical, business, etc. She does charge a one time fee of $18.00 for unlimited, lifetime access to her lists. (She updates them regularly)But seeing how much money people lose everyday on scams its not bad. It is where I found my job.
