Fashion Fantasy Game

How many people here have kids who play the Fashion Fantasy Game? I heard it was the hottest thing amongst tween girls nowadays, but I'm not sure it's as educational as most people say. I tried it out myself, and sure enough, it was fun for a free fashion design game, but is it educational?

I'd like a second opinion. Any thoughts?

Well at least girls will have some fun.. I don't think they will learn a lot from that game.

My biggest fear is that there is no PMS and that this is my personality.

I don't believe that the "hottest" game in 2011 is the current hottest game. It probably wasn't even hot 4 years ago.

I am not one of those who believe - broadly speaking - that women are better than men. We have not wrecked railroads, nor corrupted legislatures, nor done many unholy things that men have done; but then we must remember that we have not had the chance.- Jane Addams

There are a lot of fashion games for kids now and I am seeing like 3-4 apps on my daughter's phone. But she is just playing them whenever she feels. She is more into youtube.

Play and education walk hand in hand. It is in our nature to learn faster while playing. Such method of learning has been observed also in animals. What makes the difference between animals that play for learning purpose only and primates and humans is that we play for learning AND fun.
If your daughter likes the fashion game then allow her to play. It only develops creativity and imagination.
If you need advice on toys at various ages here is a resource to help.
