Implantation bleeding?

When does this happen? How would I know if that is what that is. It's been about 9 days since we started trying (you know). My period isn't really due for a few days but I'm having light bleeding. Is it still to early to test? Am I fooling myself and this is just my period?

i can happen anywhere between 3-10ish days after ovulation. Are you saying it's been 9 days since you ovulated? If so, 9 days is too early to test.

It could be implantation Click here to enlarge Some people do get + results as early as even 7dpo, but it's rare. It seems they are most likely to occur with the internet cheapie tests, but those also are notorious for evap lines. However, if you're like me, you'll order 20 (they are only a buck each) and pee every day to see if the evap changes Click here to enlarge

Well...it looks like this is my actual period. Bummer...dh and I won't be in the same state while I'm ovulating until probably December.

I'm so sorry!! Are you working with a physician with access to a lab, by any chance? I was just thinking that perhaps you could preserve a few samples, if you were comfortable with that. That way, he could get you pregnant in absentia. Click here to enlarge

I'm sorry Click here to enlarge Callie does have a good point, though...would he/you be willing to work with frozen samples?

I plan on getting to an ob to discuss other options like frozen samples and whatnot. We've just moved here and don't have doctor yet and have been out of town most of the summer. I'm starting to get my shit together though. The immediate plan is to get good at the charting then maybe I can go visit him when I am ovulating.
It was so easy getting knocked up the first time.

Yeah, I think the only drawback (if you and your dh are comfortable with the process, that is) is that you lose some of the little guys in the proces, so he'd probably need a pretty high count.

I am sorry it didn't work out next month.... Here's hoping you can regroup and figure out how to proceed next.
