This is the thing- I had 17 eggs and didn't hyperstim, and Plump had 17 and did- it's totally a crap shoot, but apparently the risk of hyperstim is pretty low. So don't worry about that.

Fwiw, we went out of town right after that IUI and I was hyperstim'ing during Easter break. I was in a lot of pain, but called the RE's office anyway. I had a really cool nurse call me back and tell me what to do (Tylenol and shitons of water), but to keep my chin up. She mentioned that it was sort of an "in house" rule that if one hyperstims, they almost always end up pregnant. Now, I'm not an RE nor do I pretend to be and I can't offer any medical reason as to why...but...I did get pregnant that cycle. Click here to enlarge

What were your symptoms, exactly? And what is a shiton? Click here to enlarge

I have read that OHSS is worse if you are pg, and it lasts longer.

I actually meant shitton=shitton (I really don't know how to spell it) = a lot.

It felt like a horrible bladder infection with pinching. There were several times where I almost doubled over in pain. I was told to take Tylenol and to drink all the water I could possibly down.
