Sounds hormonal. Did she get her period yet?

I think it is just a hard age for some kids to adjust where exactly they fit in. Maybe some special Mom/Daughter time would be good for both of you. Hopefully she can explain her feelings.

It will get better!!! Click here to enlarge

Sit by me. dsd is at the same point. A psych doc I used to work with described adolescence as a time of universal insanity. Little did I know how true those words were!

My almost 13 year old is like this as well, and it comes in predictable cycles. Try and keep track from a few months and you just might see a pattern. Wont make it any easier to handle, but at least you can predict the out bursts.

Does she have her period yet? Mine was really bad the year before she got her period and for about 2 years after. She started her period at 10 so it has just calmed down lately.

Tell me about it. We are House of Hormones. There are always tantrums being thrown (1/3 of the time by me). Stock up on feminine hygiene and chocolate.
