Is bah the only thing we are getting a raise on? I thought the base pay was going up too.

Click here to enlarge I'm much happier about moving to Ft Carson now. We're going to try to get a 'hot house' but if not, I'm not so worried about living on the economy as I was before.

I'd be impressed if I didn't know that rent and cost of living will go up accordingly in those areas.Click here to enlarge It always happens.

Yeah, I noticed that too....when we did get a raise in our BAH last year (by about $40) and I went checking prices on houses to rent, everything seemed to be about $75 more then the last time I had checked.

We are locked in to our rent amount for another year so that will be good if we weren't moving soon. Click here to enlarge I'm sure we won't see much when we go to rent in VA.
