Last day o' work today and then I'm on vaycay baybay! A whole week. Nothing. I'm not doing a thing. Maybe a little grocery shopping. Lots of napping. Oh and a pedicure. Jammies until noon. Heaven!

We're having a rough time at work right now. We're understaffed and really low on funds, so vacation isn't likely for a while. Blah...

And here I was, just happy that I get two days off (unpaid!) next week.

One of the attorneys wants us to work next Friday. I think the owner told him no, thank goodness.

It's 9 a.m., we open at 8:30, and I'm the only person here. One girl doesn't work Fridays, one is out for a wedding, no attorneys in yet (just cause they can), one guy running late, and the other girl isn't coming in until 10. She usually doesn't even work Fridays, actually. What the hell would they do if I wasn't here? I'm afraid to get sick or something, we'd have to close down.





Oh, but I'm on salary, so I do get paid for Thursday and Friday next week.

We don't work on the day after Thanksgiving. What with all the turkey eating, we would all just sleep at our desks anyway.
