There's nothing like a 3rd party app that captures usernames/passwords and populates them into login screens to make my life hell. Users complained about having to login to too many things so we've implemented a "single sign on" hell. In the process, some genius decided to include a policy thatlogs you out of your computer after 15 minutes of inactivity rather than just locking it. People are calling, freaking out (rightly so), because they've lost hours worth of work.

Did I mention that we switch from a Monday-Friday 7:30am-5pm joint to a 24/7/365 joint next week. And we have a bunch of new staff. And not enough time to train them. And a thousand or so new users.

Man, I'm used to just the opposite - several passwords with numbers, characters, upper and lower case, have to change them every two weeks, etc...whenever anyone from IT found someone's cheat sheet of passwords they would freak out and send them a nasty gram about security.

I hate multiple passwords.
