I'm a cashier in a supermarket. One of the baggers is a girl with ocd. (she has other issues, but thats irrelevant) Her trigger is bags. She has to have each plastic bag set up just so, and you cannot give her the deli bags because she has to fix them just so and it pisses customers off.

I really hate when she bags for me, because even when i put a bag in the cart, she has to fix it. and i end up doing most of the bagging.

sometimes i wish they would give her a broom.

I used to have a customer that got pissed off if we bagged her groceries. I worked where most of the time the customer had to bag their own and she actually said "my dh works too hard for our money for all of you to be handling the food" I really wondered if she didnt' realize a million others had touched already anyway

I had two old people ask me if I was stupid because I couldn't remember the price code for peppers off the top of my head and had to look it up.

Lyerin, I have people quote me the price and get pissed when I tell them I have to enter the code.

4065 for green peppers 4688 for red.

Wow. Why do people find it acceptable to be so rude to people who work the registers? I bet many of those same people would NEVER act that same way in other situations. If their broker had to look up the stock to be sure of the price it's selling for right then, they woudln't call him stupid for not just entering what they said. Assholes.

My niece is a checker at wal.. mart and she said she feel like crap when people come through and say do you know how much bread is now or milk like its her fault she certainly does not set the prices.

I use to be a cashier at a clothing store. I hated when people would get upset with me for going to look at the price of a piece of clothing because they brought me something without a tag on it. They want me to trust the price they tell me. Oh and don't get me started on the credit cards. If their card didn't work....it was somehow my fault. Obviously, they didn't pay the bill.

Not always true lately. Around here, another market had a cc breach. So alot of people got issued new cards and the banks didn't always tell them--

I've had alot of people's debit card get denied because they entered the wrong pin.

I got denied today because I used dh's score card but put it in as debit and put myd ebit pin in I was dumbfounded when it said denied and it took about 5 minutes for me to say DUH!
