I bit the bullet and went last evening I can't run out of food with the impending swine flu ya know

DH is a great cook but would spend WAY too much money at the grocery.

I hate food shopping with a passion and I've worked for supermarkets for the last 15 years. That said, I do it mostly when I get off work, but everyone seems to think that since I'm "at the store anyway" I can pick up stuff everyday. I never seem to leave that place without buying something.

I live in a small town so the stores aren't too busy. I avoid them at all costs on long weekends and Summer weekends though. Filled with tourists. Then you can't move.
