if the coach is retired, can he get your kid? If he's going to have practices that early....

I was thinking of you because I ran into a mom who started WOH and I asked her how it was going and she quit. She just couldn't do the running around with 3 kids and agreed as they are getting older, it's getting harder.

we are never home at night it seems.

I'm confused about the carpooling. If you hire someone to drive them, can't you opt out of the carpool and have them get only your kids?

My carpools take my kids to school and then we pick up both carpools in the afternoon. If I find someone who can drive them in the afternoon and opt out of carpool, I've exchanged one problem for another as I would then be stressed trying to figure out how to get my kids to school(DD's school does not have on-site care and starts at 830 am). Dh can do afternoons more than he can do mornings so I figure I better try to work out the afternoon thing if at all possible.

Luckily, the Little League thing is not as intense as it appears on paper. I'll be honest - I'm a big time stresser. This is not the first time I've totally stressed out only to find reality is more gray than black & white. So glad this was the case here. Good luck with it all. It does sound stressful.
