I donít know how you made it that far because I was miserable by 30 weeks. Click here to enlarge

I think I win for the greatest bitching to complications ratio.

At my 37 week appointment I was in tears at the thought of going another week. What a pussy! But at the time I was So. Freaking. Miserable!

I don't know how you big baby/long-carrying women did it. I am impressed. Me give you mad proppz.

When did you deliver?
36 1/2 weeks

Vaginal, section or both?
C-section. I labored 24 hours, the were born c-section because they were breech.

What were the birth weights?
A little over 5lbs each

Did they spend any time in NICU?
No

Whatís their relative (to each other) size now?
Olivia has always been slightly bigger. She is about 1/2 pound to a pound bigger and about 1/2 to 1 inch taller then Sophia.

Do they look or act similar?
Everyone thinks they look alike but me and dad. They are different in personality though.

When did you deliver?
31 weeks

Vaginal, c-section or both?
Section after 12 hours of unstoppable preterm labor secondary to chorioamnionitis and a placental abruption

What were the birth weights?
Jon was 4lb 4oz, Gloria was 3lb 4 oz.

Did they spend any time in NICU?
Just a hair under a month.

What's their relative (to each other) size now?
Jon is a good couple of inches taller and outweighs Gloria by nearly 10lb. He seems to be built like his wrestling uncles, whereas Gloria is tiny like her paternal grandmother.

Do they look or act similar?
They have similar features, but it's not a striking resemblance at all. Their personalities are completely different.

When did you deliver?

39 weeks. I also would have gone on forever if it weren't for my G. Diabetes and degrading placentas. I was induced. For days...

Vaginal, section or both?
Vaginal. They were head down from the first U/S and never changed position.

What were the birth weights?
Pauline 6lbs
Larson 5lbs 14oz

Did they spend any time in NICU?
Pauline did. They were afraid that she had developed an infection from her umbilical stump and kept her for 48 hours to treat her with antibiotics. We still don't know if there was ever an infection or not.

Whatís their relative (to each other) size now?
Hell's Bell's, that skinny little baby boy chubbed out on us. At six months he is four pounds heavier than his sister. When you're carrying them it feels more like fifteen.

Do they look or act similar?
They looked more alike three months ago. Not so much now. Totally opposite personalities. Pauline is an instigator and Larson is a bit of a shrinking violet.

When did you deliver?
36w1d

Vaginal, section or both?
Vaginal. My doctor just said the word c-section and 20 minutes later, they were born, 3 minutes apart.

What were the birth weights?
Avery was 4lb 10oz and Addyson was 3lb 14oz

Did they spend any time in NICU?
No, just well baby nursery until they were able to bf all their feeds

Whatís their relative (to each other) size now?
There is about a pound and a half difference with Avery still in the lead. Also, probably 1/2 inch.

Do they look or act similar?
Yes, they are identical. Their personalities are TOTAL opposites.

When did you deliver?

30 weeks, due to toxemia

Vaginal, section or both?

Emergency c-section.

What were the birth weights?

3lbs 1/2oz & 2lbs 11oz.

Did they spend any time in NICU?

Yes, seven weeks.

What's their relative (to each other) size
Very close, the most they have been different in height is a half an inch, weight was different as babies as twin-twin transfusion had started so Abs was slightly bigger. Now it's really, really close. Click here to enlarge

Do they look or act similar?

They look identical. Arenne's face seems to be shorter and longer, but it's hard to tell.

They are completely different girls though. Click here to enlarge

They have always been within half an inch in height and within a few ounces in weight. Phoenix feels MUCH heavier, though, and looks bigger. I think they are both around 24-25 lbs now, probably with Phoenix half a pound heavier.
I wanted to update this because they had a check up today and are the exact same height (31.75 inches) and head circumference (19 inches) and their weights are 23 lbs 4 oz and 23 lbs 15 oz. I am amazed that they are still so close in size! They are almost 18 months.

When did you deliver?
34 weeks.

Vaginal, section or both?
C-section. My peri said he'd recommend a c-section (if the babies were to be born that early and with one baby breech), but my OB wanted me to have them vaginally. I was in labor for quite some time (in severe pain, and in and out of the hospital for more than a day) before I'd dilated enough to have an epidural. Then, my contractions stalled, and they wanted to turn the epidural down. At that point, I couldn't handle any more pain, so my OB went ahead and did the c-section.

What were the birth weights?
6 pounds 4 ounces and 5 pounds 12 ounces

Did they spend any time in NICU?
Yes. DS was there 11 days, and DD was there 4 days.

Whatís their relative (to each other) size now?
DD (who weighed less at birth) is taller and lighter. DS is about an inch shorter and weighs a couple pounds more.

Do they look or act similar?
No and no. DD is quiet and thinks about things a lot. DD is Miss Personality, and prefers interacting with people. Click here to enlarge

Anyone else? this is a fun thread!

I am not one of those who believe - broadly speaking - that women are better than men. We have not wrecked railroads, nor corrupted legislatures, nor done many unholy things that men have done; but then we must remember that we have not had the chance.- Jane Addams

When did you deliver?
38.5 weeks

Vaginal, section or both?
Vaginal. Seth was head down, tyler was transverse. Pushed Seth out normally and the doc gloved up and pulled tyler out. He ended up as a footling breech birth.

What were the birth weights?
6 lbs 5oz, and 6lbs 7oz I think.

Did they spend any time in NICU?
Nope

Whatís their relative (to each other) size now?
Although Seth was bigger when born, Tyler now outweighs him a good 8-10 lbs and a couple inches taller.

Do they look or act similar?
[b]They look like brothers, and act completely differently. Seth is the quiet, imaginative play one. Tyler's the wild rambunctious one. Though oddly enough Tyler is my reader and Seth couldn't be less interested.[b]
