I have a twin sister. While I intellectually understood that there was no reason for twins to skip generations, I must have really internalized that old wives' tale because I was absolutely shocked when the doctor told me there were two. And I started the crazed mumblings about "They LIED to me" every time I though about the skipping generations thing.

I was wondering if anyone here was in the same boat with finding out rather concretely that "Twins skip generations" is a load of bunk.
