'ello 'ello! I'm a single mommy to just turned 14 month old more than likely fraternal boys.

I went to 38.5 weeks with them, and it was worth it. Click here to enlarge Tyler was 6lbs 5 and Seth was 6lbs7. Both extremely healthy. We are still breastfeeding now, though it's down to about twice a day.

They are absolute rug rats and love biting and standing on each other and stealing each others toys. Eventually they'll like each other right?

hi I have 2 1/2 y/o b/g twins corey is the very loving cuddly type. caitlyn is daddy's little girl for sure. she has him wrapped around her little finger. caitlyn also has beckwith and weidermann syndrome so she's had a sort of rough start but she's doing great and she loves to bully her brother

I am mommy of b/g twins who were also 34.5 weekers. They spent 2 weeks in the NICU due to apnea and jaundice. I breastfed until they were 8 months. They will be 4 in August and on their way to pre-k. The first year was soooo hard. At times I thought I would go crazy. But, things have settled down a bit and I enjoy every wild moment. BTW, I also have another son who will be 7 in December.

I have 2 year old fraternal girl twins. They'll be 3 on July 7. They look and act totally different, but are so so so close... even when they're fighting. Click here to enlarge

I'm so happy you have a multiples forum! awesome.

Click here to enlarge Click here to enlarge I am the mother of g/g fraternal twins, age 3. They have (and have always had) VERY different personalities, but look just about identical.

Question: did anyone elese nurse? So far I am the only mum of twins i know who breastfed.

Welcome, meg!

My wife nursed for about a year, after which the kids self weaned.

DW is about the most stubborn person I know. Ours were preemies, and it took about 7 weeks for them to latch. She worked with them every day, and eventually they did latch.

Hi Meg,

I have a couple of 20 month old id boobie addicts. I am working on weaning and keeping them so busy during the day that they forget about the boobs. We're trying to limit nursing time to nighttime and afternoon nap only. Weaning is almost as tough as getting established, and that's one of the physically toughest things i ever did.

If you ever need to give support/info to a mom of multiples who wants to bf, there's a great bf multiples forum at parentsplace.com. The one at bf.com is more focussed on tandem nursing in general and not really focussed on multiples.

Welcome meg Click here to enlarge

I mainly pumped, and a little bit of actual breastfeeding while the girls were in the hospital, we stopped at just about 3 months. My hat goes off to you moms who nurse twins long-term!

HI! I have identical boys who will be 5 at the end of June. They were induced at 38 weeks and I did have TTTS. They were a vag delivery and one was 6lb 3oz and the other was 8lb 5oz! Yes, that hurt!

I can't wait for them to start school soon and are very excited.

The first year was an eternity, then it just whipped by and they are all boy!

I also have a 16 month old dd so it can't be all that bad, or I conveniently forgot! The boys absolutely adore their sister.

Oh, BTW, my name is Meg too! But to answer the bf question..I attempted it for 6 weeks, but ended up ff. It was lack of info and support. However, this time around I'm EN with dd, but of course, she a singleton!
