Daycare

How much do you generally have to fork out? (If you have to use it)

Right now I take mine part-time because full time would run us $600 a month. I do not want to pay more than I'm paying for my car! I know that is cheap compared to other places, but still expensive for us. We pay $360 a month and they go 3 days a week.

My biggest fear is that there is no PMS and that this is my personality.

Our daycare is $70 a week per child. They don't do part-time. Well, you can send them part-time, but you still have to pay the same.

I am not one of those who believe - broadly speaking - that women are better than men. We have not wrecked railroads, nor corrupted legislatures, nor done many unholy things that men have done; but then we must remember that we have not had the chance.- Jane Addams

I can't remember the exact numbers we got when we researched this, but my impression is that it was more like $90/day/child.

That has quite probably gone down A LOT in the last year or so. At least I hope so.

Abbie & Arenne go one day a week, part-time-so 6 hours or less-mainly for the interaction with other kids, and because they love it Click here to enlarge We pay, if I'm thinking straight-$32 a week.

They are going to start preK in Aug and it will be a lot less. We used to laugh when ppl would complain about childcare in our family. We would tell them that our cc fees are equivalent to a mortgage!
