Intro...

Hi all Click here to enlarge I'm new here, although I joined up a while back, got busy.

I have 4 year old b/g twins. They were born 8 weeks early and one with some birth defects. They're both doing fantastically now and keep me well on my toes.

Looking forward to getting to know you all :-)

Welcome! My g/g twins are 3.5. I'm glad your 'babies' are doing well now. Mine were 5 weeks early and one had a heart defect that corrected itself at 6 months.

Causweighlah, it just keeps getting better!

My dd's birth defects were also congenital heart defects, I'm really glad your dd's self corrected, did she have a ASD/VSD?

She had pulminary valve stanosis. When she was born they told us she would have surgery every year until an adult when an artificial valve would be put in. At six months the valve was normal. (We went through monthly u/s for it) She will have surgery when she is four to repair a leaky valve but it will be out patient surgery.

That must have been a big relief for you. Best of luck for when she turns 4.
