Luckily I've had it enough times that I caught it immediately & started keflex right away. So it's not so bad and I'm lucky enough to not be having the pus fest that Merlot is enjoying so much.

But I do have a different kind of mastitis question...actually a keflex question. Does anyone else's baby smell funny? Like, poop with the fragrance of very strong goat cheese, or maybe yogurt that's about to turn?

I'm just wondering if it's the keflex. It's startling every time I take off his diaper. Not sick or alarming smelling, just very strong.

All this mastitis crap better be gone by April, because dammit, I do not want to deal with it again. And it's always my right boob too, that boob hates me.

BTW, no idea on the keflex, I usually get something else prescribed for mine.

I wasn't on Keflex. And for some reason, Owen hadn't pooped in 5 days He finally did yesterday, it wasn't odd smelling. Don't be ruining my goat cheese/wasa love affair, now.

I took Keflex after round two and never noticed a weird smell- that's odd. It couldn't be a sign of yeast, could it?

It's entirely possible that it's just something I ate. Dh & I eat a lot of very spicy foods, and dh is on a curry kick right now. Curry in everything.

My money is on that... We went on a mystery shop at Outback the other day and the kid's poo the following day smelled like pork chops.
