Now that I know this duct is clogged...
I can't get it to unclog. It huuuurts. I have tried every trick I can find, and it will not budge. I keep reading about "the white spot". I don't have a "white spot". What happens if it stays this way? Wuuuugh.

have you soaked it in the tub and squeezed your breast? sometimes you can dislodge something that way. I hope it feels better soon.

I tend to get very lumpy and get clogged ducts easily when I'm nursing and I have an unopened bottle of 180 lecithin softgel capsules from when DD2 was a baby. Since DD2 is my last baby, I'll gladly send them to you in the mail if you want to PM me your address.

Lean over a basin of hot hot water and epsom salt while massaging it then (I quite know how to say this without being indelicate) finding someone with a stronger suck (dh?) who wouldn't mind helping maybe? while you massage it?

what opened mine was putting pressure on the lump while he nursed on the other side. It hurt like a mutha, but I just put pressure on it and pushed it towards the nipple. It took a few nursing sessions, but it finally shot out.
