Two Week Check Up!

Okay, technically, he is 2.5 weeks, buuuuuut:

At birth, 9lbs 14oz, 21.75".
At one day, 9lbs 5oz, 21.75"
At two (and a half) weeks:

10 lbs 9 oz, 23"

I apparently make buttermilk. Click here to enlarge

He is in the 80th%ile for weight, 97th%ile for height, and 50th%ile for head circumference.

Everything is fine and normal, but she does want me to increase the amount of acidophilus I am giving him. I am thickly coating a fingertip, twice a day. She wants me to measure out an 1/8th of a teaspoon twice a day. Says he is likely to need it for a few months.

Husband and I also got the TDaP.

I was on antibiotics twice the month before he was born, the last course ending 4 days before he was born. Wiped out his gut flora. He had painful, rank gas his first days of life.

He still has pretty stinky gas, and a little yeast in his crotch creases.

Poor bub. But he's growing so well. Click here to enlarge And I love that pic of him. Click here to enlarge

I've been giving B acidophilus in her breakfast cereal - she's on amox for an EI. So far it has reduced the, um, runniness of her poops, so I think it is definitely helping. We actually made it through a day without having to change her clothes or mine. Click here to enlarge Watch, she'll get up from her nap covered. Click here to enlarge

Nova's gas is still foul. I think it's a family trait. Click here to enlarge I tried giving her probiotics but stopped when I realized her dairy issues.

I'll buck the trend, I don't think her kids are all that in the cute department. not all kids are cute. they have other attributes that make up for that, but look at tweedle's aiden, that is a cute kid. and your kids mel, those are adorable kids. Her's are average. I wouldn't take a second look passing her on the street.
