Plugged duct?

Spongy lump and inch or so from the nipple, hurts when I can capture it between fingers and press it, and feels like someone is stabbing me with a knife right there when he nurses.

Same thing happened 2 weeks ago but it faded.

Not hot to the touch, no signs of mastitis, but...plugged duct?

Damn it hurts.

Sounds like it, and aren't you more prone to them anyway because of your reduction? Do the warm compresses, hot bath or shower, and if you have a hand pump, being that in with you to try and get the duct cleared out. I also, with a really bad one did the cabbage leaf trick(just for a few hours)

Lecithin is a good supplement for prevention.

Nurse with his chin pointed towards the lump, if possible.

Motrin and heat for pain. Loads of water.

It sounds like it to me too. I got so many of them the first few months after Maya was born. Sucky! I hope your boobie feels better soon.

It's not a feeling, it's a knowing.

I'll buck the trend, I don't think her kids are all that in the cute department. not all kids are cute. they have other attributes that make up for that, but look at tweedle's aiden, that is a cute kid. and your kids mel, those are adorable kids. Her's are average. I wouldn't take a second look passing her on the street.
