Worried about my supply again

I think my supply is going down. Click here to enlarge I just don't feel as full as normal (although I no longer have painful engorgement issues, I can just tell by how heavy my breasts feel), Rosalie is wanting to nurse more than usual (and nurses for a longer amount of time), and she is getting frustrated while nursing.

I've been forcing myself to eat and stay well hydrated, but it's just getting worse. She's only 3 months and I wanted to nurse for a year at the very least. I just don't know what to do. Click here to enlarge

I've had luck taking fenugreek, blessed thistle, and eating oatmeal. After 3 or 4 days of faithful taking the herbs and eating the oatmeal my supply would come back up. I will say it was kind of rough for those few days, Grace would not be happy, but we always made it through. Just try not to stress out about it.

I second oatmeal and water water water. If you can, plunk yourself down for a day or two in front of the TV and let her nurse away to her hearts content, that will help too. Sorry, I know this can be frustrating, we had nursing issues too. You are doing great.

I've been doing the oatmeal and lots of water, and letting her nurse as much as possible. Picking up the fenugreek later today, hopefully that will help. Thanks Click here to enlarge

It might not just be stress, although that certainly could contribute. Daniel is close in age and he went through a RIDICULOUS growth spurt 3-4 weeks ago and ANOTHER one now. My nipples are ready to secede.

Make sure you're focusing on eating protein and green leafy veges. Stay away from anything that might suppress supply, like Benadryl, peppermint tea, cabbage, etc.

Get a bunch of oatmeal cookies or easy oatmeal breakfast bars.
