*sigh* DS is weaned.

He hasn't nursed in 3 days, hasn't asked for it or anything. :crying He was waking up around 4-5am, nurse for 5 minutes, and then go back to sleep, but he hasn't done that either.

yeah, he is(he's 21 months) but I'm still a bit sad, as he's my last baby. But at the same point, I'm grateful that he never had a drop of formula, even when I was working 20 hours a week.

My biggest fear is that there is no PMS and that this is my personality.

You did a great job!

I am not one of those who believe - broadly speaking - that women are better than men. We have not wrecked railroads, nor corrupted legislatures, nor done many unholy things that men have done; but then we must remember that we have not had the chance.- Jane Addams

I am still sad that I had to wean Lucy at 9 months. She is also 21 months so I could technically still be nursing her I guess. But now I am nursing DS and thankfully it is going much better so far! I hope we make it that long this time. Click here to enlarge

Awww its bittersweet isn't it?
My 21 month old nurses every blue moon. He has gone 3 weeks and then will randomly nurse several times in one day. He has to find an open time slot when the 2 month old isn't hogging it all Click here to enlarge

The problem now is he's waking up at 6:45 STARVING. this morning he ate 3 bowls of cereal. So either it's because he's not getting that snack in the night, or he's hitting a growth spurt.

All 3 boys together I nursed for 41 months(oldest 3 months, middle 17 months, and then 21 months with Mikey)

Congrats!! Luke weaned at 19 months. I was glad to have my body back but still really sad at the same time. He wasn't my baby anymore!

I did go browsing for REAL bras the other day(still wearing my nursing bras, none of my old bras are fitting right) and found a local store that sells the good ones in my size. I just wish the Wacoal brand went on sale occasionally, those, $60 for a bra, even if it is pretty and not nude, white or black, is just a bit rich for my blood. so, I'll stick with the less expensive Bali ones, in the boring colors.

And it is nice having him sleeping thru the night finally, and not sticking his hand down my short asking for "nee-nees" but yeah, definitely bittersweet.
