At 6 wks I started with 3.5 oz....he was spitting up a bit from what I figured was over eating so I lowered to 3 oz and problem fixed.
A few wks later I bumped to 3.25 and then a few wks after to 3.5 oz. Right after I bumped to 3.5, the daycare lady said he still seemed hungry so I bumped to about right under 4 oz but she said she still thinks he needs more. He is 3 months exactly now. She thinks he needs cereal in his bottle and even gave him some without asking me a few days ago (she genuinely thought I would think it was a good thing) but she knows not to now blah blah blah. Long story short, he had about a 1/2 oz left in a bottle so sprinkled some cereal in there to see if he liked it and she claims he just loved it
I know all kids are different, but I'm pretty sure the most ds2 took at a time was 5 or 6 ounces at almost 12 months, so I guess that is why I'm still aiming low for only a 3 month old
I'm also wondering if she is trying to prove me wrong since I told her no on the cereal

She isn't the main worker so I'm gonna ask the main one next time I drop him off (the cereal one is there in the afternoon right before I pick him up).
And no, I'm not yanking him over the cereal thing right now, I have 2 kids there that are comfortable with the daycare and this is an isolated incident and I have had kids in there for 3.5 yrs off and on.
