I have been slowly weaning Cassidy from nursing the past few weeks because of my upcoming surgery. Monday was the last time I let her nurse, she has asked a few times since but has done rather great.

Yesterday I was so engorged and in a lot of pain, the left side had a huge knot in it and I asked her if she wanted to nurse, of course she said yes. She tried and made an weird face, she didn't like the milk anymore.

I'm hoping my milk dries up soon, the soreness is killing me.

I am happy that I got to breastfeed her for 25.5 months.

Take some sudafed, it will help you dry up quicker. Or really any type of decongestant.
