If you order in food

what do you tip? Do you tip a flat rate or according to the price of the food?

I am not one of those who believe - broadly speaking - that women are better than men. We have not wrecked railroads, nor corrupted legislatures, nor done many unholy things that men have done; but then we must remember that we have not had the chance.- Jane Addams

For delivery, I usually do a flat rate.

A percent or a flat rate depending on how much it costs. Usually a minimum of $5

That said, we almost always pick up instead of getting food delivered because it's so much faster that way.

I usually do about $5, too. The other day I was wondering if that's too cheap Click here to enlarge

Pizza from the car to the door, you're probably good. A dozen pizzas, all properly ordered, cough up a few more bucks Click here to enlarge

Depends on the food. I'm not going to tip Jimmy Johns $5 for a $6 sandwich.

I feel like $5 is sort of the minimum but I wouldn't tip $5 on a $6 sandwich. But it's been a long time since I've ordered one person's worth of food. Click here to enlarge

We usually tip good because the delivery drivers here get about 30 for gas & about $2 a delivery so the poor thing s not making much. Husband used to deliver chicken & pizza i finally had to make him stop because he was not making any money

I usually do take out, because the two places I order from regularly are only 5 minutes away. Plus it takes 45 minutes to get Chinese, yet I can have it home 15 minutes after I order if I do takeout.

our flat is $5, but i'm not opposed to a higher amount if it's a much larger order than normal (copious amounts for many many people).

Petition the White House to Adopt the Chartreuse Awareness Ribbon for the Prevention of Child Sexual Abuse.

"While there are many colors for various causes, (for example, Child Abuse and Autism both share the same color ribbon) there is no nationally recognized ribbon in chartreuse. Child sexual abuse affects so many children and yet prevention organizations struggle to receive the funding they need to raise awareness and educate people on all the simple ways we can empower our children, families, and communities against abuse."

Yes, Jimmy Johns will deliver a single sandwich if you live in their delivery area. Freakily fast.

“I don’t know why we don’t create some sort of system where we could train [Syrian refugees] to then go back to their own country and then fight for that country. Doesn’t somebody have to stay in the Middle East and make the Middle East a better place to live?”
