I'm sorry. I lost 10lbs at the beginning of both pregnancies because I was so so sick. I made up for it during the last trimester though. Gained 100lbs with each kid....Click here to enlarge

The only thing that kept me going was the idea of a small human at the end of all that Click here to enlarge

I have now dropped 3.4 lbs Click here to enlarge

I have also, finally, found a few "safe" foods. Sadly, $6 packets of organic red raspberries are one of them. You only get 1 cup for $6 Click here to enlarge I pour cream on them and they are so.freaking.good.

We're going to be sssssssssssooooooooooooo broke for the next 5 weeks as I muddle through this Click here to enlarge

I am a little jealous. I have just as much nausea and puking, but did not lose any weight this time. (I did with both the other kids). I was up 16 pounds, then supposedly lost a pound the last two weeks, so a total of 15 gained so far. Which is more than I gained with my daughter (14, I think), but slightly less than with my son (17, I think), though I am on path to potentially outgain the both of them... like 20 something total? 22? It's a pound a week now, I think?

I gained 38 with both boys. I'm heavier now, and hope to stick to around 18-20 lbs.

I think I have hit the 30 pound mark this week. I can't be certain, because I stupidly wore high, zip-up boots to my last appointment, so I couldn't be weighed barefoot like I usually do.

I may be a tad anal about getting weighed.

I'm down 4.5 lbs. Yesterday I managed to add Veggie Booty to my repertoire of food, and today I added an Odwalla Mo Beta ONLY because DH FORGOT TO GET MY RASPBERRIES yesterday, and it's too icy to go out today Click here to enlarge

The Veggie Booty gave me heartburn Click here to enlarge

Now I'm getting a bad, sharp head and neck ache on my right side. Directly related to computer use Click here to enlarge

9 weeks, 5 days now.

10 weeks, 1 day. Down 5 lbs now Click here to enlarge

Can't eat dairy anymore, other than a splash of cream on raspberries Click here to enlarge

I taught today and did well. I was worried a 5 hour class wouldn't be ok for my body, but I managed quite well. I need to work in more breaks so I can eat Click here to enlarge

I have no motivation to do my online teaching responsibilities Click here to enlarge

I managed to just now eat something big, with protein and cheese, so yay me. Last night I had this weird gag reflex/excessive saliva thing going on for 20 minutes. Want to avoid THAT again. Ugh.

I scheduled my ultrasound for January 26, and DH is going with me.

So I'm down 7 lbs. I ate fucking Arby's and got a migraine within 30 minutes.

For some reason, I suddenly wanted a gyro late last night. I found a great Greek place here in town that makes gyros with just lamb and pork--not that preservative-laden shaved stuff you find at gyro stands.

We went there for lunch and I had a divine greek salad and half a gyro. I haven't had a migraine and I'm in heaven! My entire lunch was $6.95! Erik spent $27 on grilled octopus and a grilled salmon Greek salad that could feed three people Click here to enlarge

I'm SO going back alone for lunch. Probably tomorrow, and every fucking day until this veil of nausea lifts. I'm NOT NAUSEATED RIGHT NOW Click here to enlarge So Greek it is! Click here to enlarge

So we went back again. I got a raging migraine that faded within 30 minutes Click here to enlarge No pain, but severe visual distortion. Same as Wednesday. But I've eaten nothing with egg, and ate nothing that was an obvious trigger.

Greek salad and shrimp cocktail Click here to enlarge

I weighed myself again today and I'm down 8 lbs Click here to enlarge I called the CNM and she said that as long as I am starting to come out of the nausea and am eating a wider variety of foods (yes, I am), then it's ok. But if this persists for more than the next 2 weeks, we need to be concerned.

So Monday's ultrasound showed a healthy fetus, likely a girl, and an empty sac from what is now a confirmed "vanished twin." No idea when the twin died. I'm handling it all ok (ish).

I'm also craving food from back home. I want to go to Skyway Drive-In and get me a California, a baked ham sandwich with mustard and pickle, and a bunch of fried mushroom caps Click here to enlarge

Why is home 650 miles away? Click here to enlarge

I'm having up and down nausea days. Today I went grocery shopping and most of the nausea about THINKING about food is gone. I bought $186 of food at Whole Foods Click here to enlarge Onion rings, shrimp rolls, loads of lettuce, and oil, vinegar, and lemon to try to recreate the damn Greek salad dressing Click here to enlarge

I'm at 13.5 weeks and can't sleep on my stomach anymore Click here to enlarge It felt like I was laying on a flat jelly balloon. Which is a fairly accurate description of my belly these days Click here to enlarge
