You know what I'd do Juni? I'd do a search of SMs and use some of our members' posts as a starting point. There have been some very eloquent arguments "for" in the Circus.

The points I'd consider including would be
1) the miserable failure of Prohibition (to changing the constituttion to prohibit gay marriage)
2) the need for measures to protect the partners of gay people and their wishes during illness and death.
3) the failure and unconstitutionality of "separate but equal" (to the suggestion that gays have "civil unions" instead of marriage)

Those are my three favorite points.
