Lets discuss teacher assements

I have been truthfull on every one of these I've taken.

The violence and aggression teacher I had was just willy nilly all over the place. It drove me insane. There were about 5 of us that just did not like her.

Only 1 other girl put down what was wrong. All the others gave her a high score.

What is the point if you aren't going to be real.

So are you honest, or do you just fill it out any wich way.

I normally fill them out honestly. But, if I'm sick on the day and I just plain don't care I won't do one. Why waist someones time if your not going to tell them the truth. I normally have the same teachers and they have always used the assessments as a tool to help improve. I've seen some suggestions I put on the assessments in use the following quarter. But, I have no problem giving a bad assessment if they deserve one. They give me a bad grade if I deserve one so I feel I can to! Click here to enlarge

I always am truthful, not that it matters. I had one teacher who came in drunk, had an open affair with a student, ranted about the administration for 50-60 minutes each class, and I know at least 4-5 of us wrote him up on his evaluation. And then the next quarter he did the same thing to two of his other classes. And he got Outstanding Teacher of the Year.

I've never had to do one. However, when I do have the opporunity, I will absolutely be honest with my input.

I've always been honest but it doesn't seem to have an impact.

Iíve always been honest as well but Iíve never had an awful instructor before. The only one who even came close to being ďbadĒ was my Geology professor. If you asked her a question instead of just answering it she would drone on and on and on for half an hour about something that had nothing to do with your question. The class started with something like 30 students and within a couple of weeks only 7 of us were left. She was an excellent instructor, she just made everything sooooo complicated.

I always take the time to fill them out honestly.

I work a planning and assessment office at a university and I know that the information on these surveys is used to make improvements. Not only does the instructor see the results and use them, but so does their department head and dean.
