It officially doesn't start until Monday but the Profs like to open up early so people can get familiar with it.

Anyway, I found 3 mistakes in his syllabus already.

He is a new prof so I emailed him and told him.

you have bigger balls than me

He had the wrong book listed for the class He is teaching this class in the summer semester and they are switching to a new edition but this semester they are using the old one. He picked this class up about 2 weeks ago so, in his defense, he didn't know. His percentage total for the grade in there only added up to 90% but he had it listed as 100%.

I signed the email "The annoying accounting major who notices stuff like this." He emailed me back, thanked me, and told me it is accounting's job to irritate the marketing people.

I would be thrilled to have a student email me like that It would indicate they're actually reading the syllabus

In our assignment for the week he has 2 spelling and 1 grammatical error. I am not saying anything about those.

I got so accustomed to the syllabuses (syllabii?) being a complete mess that it never would have occurred to me that a professor would want to know about a mistake. I figured they didn't give a rat's ass.
