This area you've posted this in is the public area. Here, you can share whatever you're comfortable with. Hidden, is a private area. You can apply for entry, but typically you need a few more posts.

There is a lot of private information in the hidden forum and many don't want their health problems out for the masses to read, in case you were wondering why it was private.

I have a recent dx and would be willing to share all...I know I am really scared, and am wondering if any other ladies have my dx, and how long it took them to feel normal again? Would it be possable to post in the private forum and have you all decide if I'm real or not?

TIA

We've had a few "controversies" in the private section so we're generally pretty stringent on the post count side of things. You're both more than welcome to post here and we'll post some out here... or you can PM the Admins/Moderators of this forum to discuss further action.

I'm sorry you're feeling scared. Click here to enlarge Getting any kind of diagnosis can be scary, especially if you Google things. I swear, Google pulls up all of the Worst Case Scenarios possible! There's a high possibility that someone here shares your diagnosis and would be willing to share PMs with you at the very least until your post count is higher.

Thanks...I have a dx of Prinz Metal Angina, in the right main artery of my heart...I am wondering if anyone has this, and is it controlled by meds...or have you had to have a stint, or a bypass. Today has been rough, I have had to spend most of my time hooked up to O2...My Dr. has made a referall to a female heart specialist in SF...Her name is Dr. Yee, has anyone heard of her?

hugs,
sam

I know nothing about your health issues but wanted to wish you the best. What hospital is Dr Yee associated with? Both major hospitals in the Bay Area are excellent. Update us when you can.

Unhappy aww

so sorry to hear about that,I hope everything goes well for you,my gramma had to get 3 stents put in at a very young age and so far she is just fine. Let us know how everything goes and keep us updated.

as for me it would be years untill I would be on the private forum, I dont post alot I just like reading everyones replies and sometimes as long as its not a touchy subject for all add mine into it.

as for me right now (i have soooo many health problems I try to complain about 1 or 2 at a time) my main problem right now is controlling my Diabetis its getting really bad, losing sight very fast,ALOT of nerve damage in my legs and feet, keeping me off of them alot. my problem is with the food is that if it taste like nasty ass I will not eat it,I just dont eat all day and then have something semi healthy, I can eat fruit and veggie's but like my bread i cant eat wheat so I have been on the light wheat it is really really light, and on my pasta cant do whole grain, I have tried and tried,if I keep on trying it finaly ends up making me sick, everything I drink has splenda,I think I have been doing really good considering how I use to eat,but no matter how hard I try it just does not seem to do any good for me,has anyone eles had this problem??

I have to change something my sugar STAYS in the 200's for me here lately 180 is low
it is leading to soooo many other heath problems

its just a sucky situation

M2MG, are you insulin dependent? If not, do you take any medications for your diabetes? What has your doctor suggested? Have you spoken with a dietician? There are many dieticians out there nowadays that even specialize in the diabetic diet. This website might also be helpful, or at least a place to start.
