Exclamation Personal Health Records

Dear Fellow Mothers,

As a working mother of two, I have found it difficult to juggle all of the responsibilities of work and home. Regardless of the difficulties, I have no choice but to juggle them and juggle them well.

Working in the healthcare industry, I know of the importance of managing my family’s healthcare information. I need to know who was in the ER last for stitches, when their last tetanus shot was, what immunizations are due, and who’s allergic to what food. This extends beyond my children, to me and my husband’s health. As a Mom, I am responsible for it all!

With that said, I am sure that every mom can empathize. As I said, I work in the healthcare arena for an information technology company called SynaMed (www.synamed.com). SynaMed has been a leader in free web-based electronic medical records and free medical billing software for physicians’ practices since its inception in 1999. Because I understand the challenges of parenting, and SynaMed knows healthcare, we worked with our development team to create our new Personal Health Record.

A personal health record is a place where you can track all of your family’s medical history, conditions, immunizations, doctors’ visits, and more. The personal health record is maintained in our secure website and is accessible 24/7. The best part is that patients can print out an emergency wallet card that will allow access to healthcare professionals in dyer circumstances. The emergency access produces a report that contains only the information you tell it to show.

Moreover, this allows busy mothers to take control of their family’s health and never fear that vital information will be lost in a catastrophic event such as Hurricane Katrina. To provide the utmost data security, SynaMed’s servers are stored in highly secure data centers where the data is backed up and replicated constantly.

SynaMed is providing this service to patients free of charge. What’s more, we are implementing a “health tracker” which will allow you to monitor diet and exercise in order to provide a one stop healthcare site for your family.

I highly encourage every mom to consider the benefits of such a service. Log on to www.synamed.com and click on “Register for a Free Account – Patients” in order to take advantage of this completely free offer. For Doctors, For Patient, For Life.
