Re: Who's Here?!

What is/was your quit date? Since January 4, 2004 11:00pm. Was trying since the 1st before that. But that's the official time since I've gone without one since cigarette. Click here to enlarge

How much do/did you smoke each day? I was smoking a pack a day sometimes another 3-5 beyond that pack.

How long have you smoked? I started when I was around 26, so 4 years. How stupid was I to start in my mid-20's? Click here to enlarge

What is going to be/was the hardest cigarette to give up? First one of the morning, hands down.

What do you plan to do to help yourself quit and STAY a non-smoker? Right now I'm using gum, but it tastes like ass. Twinsanity mailed me some other gum and some patches. I'll use those when I need them. I've gotten back to sewing, cross-stitching, and crafting to keep my hands busy. I'm chewing on straws too. My next dream is for DH to quit too so that I am not tempted to smoke "just one" of his Click here to enlarge.

Exercise makes me feel healthier, and that makes me not want to smoke to counteract that. So I'm starting up my daily (or more than once daily) workout routine again. I'll also just look at my babies and remember WHY! Click here to enlarge

How much do/did you smoke each day?
About 1/2 pack

How long have you smoked?
Off and on for almost 10 years

What is going to be/was the hardest cigarette to give up?
The last one of the day. The 'all-the-kids-are-in-bed-and-now-I-can-relax-and-have-some-time-for-me' smoke. Click here to enlarge

What do you plan to do to help yourself quit and STAY a non-smoker?
I will continue to look to SMs for support, as well and friends and family. I think the biggest thing that I plan to do is chew on straws until my teeth fall out.
