my quit date

is tomorrow morning. i'm a week on the wbtrn, got my inhaler, and i'm ready. i have one after dinner/before bed smoke left, but i am setting my meter at bedtime.

and i'm not going to fuck up this time, and if i do, it'll be a slip, not an excuse to smoke for another week til i'm"ready"

i can do this. it's gonna be a good time.

You can do it. I have my stuff all ready to go too. Thursday I will wake up not smoking.

i hate myself. i do fine until i get an hour alone, and then the "no one would know" thing starts happening, and somehow i convince myself that i'm going to fuck up sooner or later, and it's better to do it when no one is around to know about it, so i should do it now while they're gone.

well, now i've named that as stupid, and won't let it get me next time.

Do you have the cigarettes around just waiting? If so I would say get rid of them now. Make it as hard as you can not to be able to get your hands on them until it passes. I

Don't be so hard on yourself.

see, i tried that, and then i super obsessed on what would happen if my craves got so bad i couldn't stand it and the store was closed. i can go far longer without thinking too much about smoking if i have some stashed. and i go from feeling like "i can not" to " i choose not" so i'm not all desperate.
